Do I need a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) to use iRobot Education's products?

Information around data processing agreements (DPAs) as related to iRobot's educational products.

We are pleased to share that iRobot's educational robots and supporting mobile applications do not collect, store, or process Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from any person, including individuals under the age of 13. “Personally identifiable information” refers to any information related to an identified/identifiable individual. An example of personal information would be your name or home address.

Given that Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) exist to regulate any personal data that is processed, one is not necessary as none is collected. You may view our privacy policy here.
These products are also COPPA certified through iKeepSafe, who is a recognized third-party auditor. This is a link to the COPPA compliance report and certification, which will hopefully ease any concerns and provide any supporting documentation required.
